Private educational estimate
Calorie deficit calculator
Estimate daily calorie needs from age, height, weight, sex used by the equation, and a broad activity category. The result is a starting estimate, not a target or treatment plan.
Your entries stay in this browser. TrustGLP1 sends only fixed interaction event names to its analytics relay, not age, height, weight, sex, activity, or calculated results.
Formula and assumptions
The calculator uses the Mifflin–St Jeor resting-energy equation, converts the result with a broad activity multiplier, then displays rounded values at maintenance and 10%, 15%, and 20% below that estimate.
The original equation was published from a study of 498 healthy adults. Read thePubMed record for Mifflin and colleagues. For a more detailed dynamic planning tool, see theNIDDK Body Weight Planner.
